Balearic Bird Watching Initiative
In order to preserve birdlife in the Balearic Islands, the Government has launched an ornithology initiative as part of the European ISNOVA project. The flagship is a new website featuring news and activities on birdlife in the Balearic Islands, areas where bird watching can be enjoyed and a search engine with detailed information about the various species. The Mediterranean Institute for Advanced Studies (IMEDEA) has provided much of the input to an impressive resource for any bird lovers in Spain.
