Balearic Cycling Holidays
The Balearic islands offer some of the most pictoresque scenery in Spain during the summer months and there’s no better way to see them than by bike. To help, the Balearic Tourist Board have launched two new websites to encourage more cyclists to the islands of Ibiza and Formentera. With information of over 800 kilometres of cycle routes tourism routes, cyclists can find a route to suit all. The routes are organised in terms of name, geographical location, degree of difficulty and main points of interest on the islands. One high-tech option is to download routes onto Global Positioning System devices and then post suggestions and opinions about the routes in a suggestion box.
