Cave Clubbing in Menorca
If you are looking for a clubbing experience with a difference, try going to Menorca and the Xoroi cave which legend has it was once home to a sea monster called the Xeroi. Today its open to visitors tourists during the day but turns into a club at night playing ambient music during the long hot summer evenings. Tourists come to see where the Xoroi once lived with the story being that it emerged from the sea and took shelter in a cave before robbinglocal houses and a girl who was soon to be wed. Footprints were allegedly seen in the snow one year and a search party found a man and a woman living in the cave with their three children. The story goes that the man and his eldest son threw themselves into the sea, and the women and her other two children lived the rest of their lives in the local village. Whatever the truth, its a very beautiful spot and its even got its own website with some funky tunes, agenda and photos:
