Barcelona Guitar Festival
The biggest and longest guitar festival in Spain gets underway from the 22nd March to the 7th June featuring names such as Jackson Browne, flamenco songwriter-guitarist José Mercé, Alan Holdsworth and the Scott Henderson Blues Band. Virtuoso classical guitarist John Williams will also feature in a festival that has gained a reputation as one of the most prestigious guitar gatherings in Europe. The festival coincides with one of the best times of the year to be in Barcelona. Spring starts to see the city come alive but without the oppressive crowds and heat and of the summer months.
