There’s no shortage of jazz festivals in Spain this year - it seems Spain is becoming something of a mecca for Jazz enthusiasts - and Barcelona makes its contribution with the San Miguel “Mas i Mas” festival. Artists this year include Jazz trumpeter Roy Hargrove, Cuban jazz singer Omara Portuondo and the the pianist from the John Coltrane Quartet. Concerts will be held at various venues across the city namely Jamboree, Jazzroom, Moog, Tarantos and the impressive Palau de la Música Catalana.
