La Merce Festival
The end of September brings the annual La Mercé festival - a celebration of the city’s patron saint “Mare de Deu de la Mercé”. The festival welcomes the autumn months and trusting that the bad weather that has plagued this summer clears up, most of the fun will take place outside. This year there are over 3000 artists and performers on display with over 500 activities to watch or take part in, catering for every taste. This is one of Barcelona’s biggest events of the year so don’t miss it!
