The Parque del Drago is the biggest botanical park on the island of Tenerife with over 1000 species on show. The main attraction though is the Dragon tree, which is over 1000 years old and has become one of the national symbols of the Canary Islands. Its can be found all over the place including on postcards, local currency and stamps.
