Jerez Moto Grand Prix

Jerez is one of the most historic, seductive and beautiful cities in Andalucia and what better time to visit than April during one of the most important events in the moto-racing season - the Moto Grand Prix. Crowds of up to 120,000 are expected to attend meaning this is a carnival quite unlike any other in Spain. The roads for miles around will be rammed with motorbike afficianados meaning the most fun way to attend this event is definitely on two wheels. With bikes reaching speeds of up to 300kph (190mph) however, you better buy tickets early if you hope to catch any of the action. Why not combine an outing to the GP with a trip into Jerez - famous for its brandy, wine, horses and of course, flamenco. Don’t miss the amazing Cathedral, Arab Baths and the world’s biggest flamenco museum - Museo de Arte Flamenco. Some useful links for making the most of your visit are:
