New Costa del Sol Information Board
The Costa del Sol Tourist Board has announced it has opened a new contact centre providing tourist information in the province, the Costa del Sol Contact Centre. The Board says “The Contact Centre is aimed at providing better, more personalised services to travellers interested in finding out practical information about the province of Málaga and the Costa del Sol when they are planning their trip to these destinations or when they are here and need specific data.” The new service takesfull advantage of modern technology, using several platforms, such as telephones, SMS, e-mails, or cutting-edge technologies like those provided by Skype. The spoken information provided at the contact centre can be requested in four different languages: Spanish, English, French and Swedish but they even promise information via e-mail in “any” language.

Shame the new Information board as not got a better website ,especially in English language ….still…..room for improvements .I also learn that expat websites around the country are not being helped by local government promises….have a look at http://c-euro.org/index.php?option=com_frontpage&Itemid=1 may be helpfull but they were fed up by lack of spanish government support !!
