San Javier Jazz Festival
Not a bad setting for a Jazz Festival - located close to the largest saltwater lake in the world - the Mar Menor- the San Javier International Jazz Festival from 30 June to 30 July is one of the most popular events in Murcia. If sun, sea and sand are not your idea of a holiday, then you could do worse than check out the rolling hills of Murcia and take in this festival along the way. This year’s line-up is expected to feature the Pat Metheny Group, Marcus Miller, Eric Burdon & the Animals, John Pizarelli, Benny Golson, the Cedar Walton Quintet, “The Original Messengers”, Mezzoforte, Hiromi and the Fabio Miani Septet.
