Tramontana - Spain’s Ferrari
Spain might not be known for producing classic cars but that may soon change with the commercial release of the Tramontana — a €500,000 exclusive open-wheel roadster of which only 12 have been built on the Costa Brava. The beast is a mix of automotive and aircraft technologies, with a huge 500 hp V12 engine. The chassis is made from aeronautical aluminium and the rest is carbon fibre, wood, stainless steel and gold. But don’t hold out much hope of seeing one - it does 0-60kmh in just four seconds and with a price-tag of half a million Euros, its unlilkely to become a regular feature of Spanish roads!
