The biggest rock festival in Madrid - Festimad - takes place in May and this year will be bigger than ever in its new venue of Parque La Cantuena in Fuenlabrada, 18km outside of the capital. The two day rockfest usually attracts thousands of people from all over Europe and will feature a “mini-city” constructed in the park with camping, supermarket, bars/restaurants and even internet facilities. So far, confirmed on the lineup are megabands Marilyn Manson, The Prodigy and The Hives plus System of a Down, Slayer and Nightwish amongst others.
