New Year in Madrid
One of the wildest ways to see in the New-Year in Spain is at the Puerta del Sol where the traditional one grape-per-chime is eaten before the party goes-on well into the night. Revellers generally bring their own alcohol so by the earlyhours of the new year, everyone is well and truly “boracho”. This New Year’s Eve will feature celebrities, big screens, and live-bands amongst other things. Be sure to bring a bottle of champagne or cava to party Spanish style.
