The renowned Zarzuela Theatre in Madrid has announced its programme of shows for the 2006/2007 season, as well as two special concerts to celebrate its 150 years of history. The programme kicks off in September with the Eva Yerbabuena Flamenco Ballet Company with several shows scheduled for the Autumn Festival in October and November. There will also be a performance by Nacho Duato’s National Dance Company. From December to July, there will be a host of operas on show including, Captain Grant’s Children, The Barber of Seville, Bohemios, El Rey que rabió, Las Bribonas and La Revoltosa. The lineup will be brought to a fitting end with a performance by the Spanish National Ballet.
