Retiro Park
A great place to get away from it all in Madrid is Retiro Park which is known for its boating lake, street theatre, buskers and puppet shows. Some kids are happy just to play football in one of the many open spaces whilst parents can enjoy the cafeterias and the Centro Cultural Casa de Vacas and the Palacio de Cristal buildings which features exhibitions several times a year.
